SparkleClean Maid Service was founded in Alexandria, VA in 2009 by Sarah Pelletier, an American University graduate formerly working in the Washington DC hospitality industry. Our story began over 15 years ago when Sarah saw a need for reliable and thorough residential cleaning service in the wake of the housing market crash. SparkleClean was started by cleaning bank foreclosures, and through dedication to quality, customer satisfaction, and a commitment to caring for our employees, SparkleClean has grown into a trusted maid service and cleaning company serving the Northern Virginia area.

Red Team – Led by Raquel
Raquel is a dedicated and hardworking team leader known for her attention to detail. She is a senior team leader and alongside her, the Red team specialize in deep cleaning and spring cleaning, tackling even the toughest messes with ease. You’ll often find the Red Team conquering homes with their power scrubber, steamer, extension poles and stepladders, scrubbing everything in homes from Alexandria to Arlington, leaving them sparkling clean from top to bottom.
Blue Team – Led by Noemi
Noemi is a dynamic leader with a passion for creating clean and welcoming spaces. Her team is very experienced and excels at maintaining homes with their efficient and thorough cleaning routine, maintaining a sparkle shine every 1, 2 and 4 weeks. Grease and grime is no match for their expertise! If you live inside the Beltway, chances are you’ve experienced the Blue Team’s expertise in keeping your home spotless.
Green Team – Led by Lesny
Lesny brings her love of cleaning and passion for details to the Green Team, particularly when it comes to cleaning historic homes. Her team is skilled at handling delicate surfaces and preserving the character of older properties. You can find them buzzing up and down Route 1 in Old Town, polishing historic furnishing pieces and helping history sparkle. If you reside in Old Town Alexandria, you’re likely familiar with the Green Team’s exceptional work. Lesny has roots in El Salvador. She loves pupusas and birria tacos, a taco where the shells are also dipped and cooked in the broth of the shredded taco meat. In her free time, Lesny likes to go on hikes and to be surrounded by the beauty of our natural world.
Yellow Team – Led by Arely
Our Yellow Team straps on the HEPA filters, trapping fine white dust, and carries it out of your home so you can enjoy your newly renovated home! This team specializes in post-construction cleanups, transforming construction sites into beautiful, clean-living spaces. You may see Arely driving her team on the Express Lanes, travelling to the furthest reaches of our service areas in Burke, Fairfax Station, Fairfax and Falls Church. This team also has a loyal list of recurring customers who have been cleaned month after month by this thoughtful team.
Floating Junior Team Leader – Jenifer
Jenifer is our floating team leader. You can catch her leading various teams, filling in for one of our team leaders when they need a day off. Her bubbly personality is perfect for bouncing around from team to team when needed. She
